Summary
The CMA enabled the MLA Food Safety R&D program to communicate the results of the program to the food safety industry, regulators and MLA members over a five-year period aligning with the 2020 MLA strategic plan.
Objectives
MLA Food Safety R&D program requires ancillary funding to communicate the results of the program to industry, regulators and other MLA industry partners over a five-year period aligning with the MLA strategic plan. The allocation of funds was also applied to the 3PL storage of guidelines for the program, and to pay for catering of external meetings or any printing of material required.
